Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies – 2017

October 4, 2017

Grand Rapids, Mich., Oct. 4, 2017 (Business Wire)Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM), a leading parenteral contract manufacturing organization, has been named one of the fastest growing private companies by Inc. 5000. The list evaluates companies by revenue growth over a three-year period and identifies companies that are creating value and jobs. On the Inc. 5000 list of America’s greatest and most inspiring companies for this year, GRAM ranked #572 in the country and #9 in the state of Michigan.

The company posted three-year growth of 791 percent, tripling its revenues in 2015 and doubling them in 2016. GRAM doubled its employee count in 2015 and currently has 150 employees.

In the past three years, the company has expanded its disposable technology capabilities, which reduced processing, cleaning and prep times — translating into improved efficiencies, flexibility in process design and cost savings for its life sciences clients. The new technologies have also improved overall product safety and quality, mitigating client risk.

Additionally, to meet growing demand from its clients for solutions that address the complexities of biologics, GRAM has hired key personnel with extensive experience in the development and production of biologics.

“We are extremely proud to have received this distinguished award from Inc. 5000 and to be part of such an impressive list of prominent and renowned companies from around the world and within our state,” said Thomas Ross, president and CEO of GRAM. “I believe this is a reflection of our dedication to focusing on our clients and our commitment to high-quality, cost-effective development and manufacturing. As we grow, we will continue to expand our capabilities to serve evolving client needs and create more jobs.”
